Intelligent Network Data Server (INDS)
Welcome to INDS, a
data distribution hub for the Global Range, a new
technology to integrate suborbital platforms into a global Earth
observing system-of-systems. Its function is to collect and distribute
Earth observation data from airborne platforms to Earth
scientists.
The "Global Range" concept for airborne sensor web operations combines
over-the-horizon network communications, distributed resources, and
realtime interactive displays. The Global Range is a distributed
federation of research and operations labs providing advanced data
products and services to remote activities such as airborne science
measurement campaigns.
